It’s easy and fun to make your own turkey burgers. Make the patty mixture in a Ziploc® brand bag for less mess, and you can do it up to one day ahead of cooking.

pounds ground turkey breast

tbsp Worcestershire sauce

tbsp Dijon Mustard

tsp kosher salt

tsp ground black pepper
Hamburger buns
Suggested toppings: sliced tomato, red onion, lettuce, pickles mustard, mayonnaise

In a gallon size Ziploc® brand bag, combine turkey, Worcestershire, mustard, salt, and pepper. With your hands, knead the bag until all ingredients are combined. This step can be done up to one day ahead.

Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to medium high or create burgers on the stovetop using a heavy-duty skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp cooking oil.

Divide turkey into 8 burger size patties. Reserve 2 turkey burgers for the Turkey Pizza Pitas.

Place burgers on the grill or in the skillet and cook for 4 minutes, flip, and continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes until the burgers are cooked through and no longer pink.
Place burgers on hamburger buns and top with your desired toppings. Serve.
