The Ultimate Turkey Burger

It’s easy and fun to make your own turkey burgers. Make the patty mixture in a Ziploc® brand bag for less mess, and you can do it up to one day ahead of cooking.

Ingredients

    pounds ground turkey breast
  • 2
    tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2
    tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1
    tsp kosher salt
  • ½
    tsp ground black pepper
  •   
    Hamburger buns
  •   
    Suggested toppings: sliced tomato, red onion, lettuce, pickles mustard, mayonnaise

Directions

  • 1 In a gallon size Ziploc® brand bag, combine turkey, Worcestershire, mustard, salt, and pepper. With your hands, knead the bag until all ingredients are combined. This step can be done up to one day ahead.
  • 2 Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to medium high or create burgers on the stovetop using a heavy-duty skillet over medium-high heat with 1 tbsp cooking oil.
  • 3 Divide turkey into 8 burger size patties. Reserve 2 turkey burgers for the Turkey Pizza Pitas.
  • 4 Place burgers on the grill or in the skillet and cook for 4 minutes, flip, and continue cooking for another 4 to 5 minutes until the burgers are cooked through and no longer pink. Place burgers on hamburger buns and top with your desired toppings. Serve.
