Super Sticky "Glue" For Gingerbread Houses

Baking a gingerbread house from scratch can take an entire day. And then when you take the time to assemble it, all the pieces fall apart. To avoid an epic mess, use graham crackers and our “glue” icing recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3

    tbsp meringue powder

  • 1

    lb powder sugar

  • 4-6

    tbsp cold water

Directions

  • 1

Pour the icing into a Ziploc® bag and cut off the tip. Carefully pipe the edges of one side piece and the back piece of your house and stick them together.

  • 2

Adhere the base of the house to a cardboard cake circle or sturdy plate. The icing will make it nice and stable.

  • 3

Pipe and stick on the rest of the house. Wait until “glue” has fully dried until you continue decorating with candies.
