8 Ways to Rock a Scarf

October 01, 2013

A scarf is the ultimate holiday accessory—it’s versatile, chic and can transform a ho-hum outfit into a fabulous ensemble. Try these new ways to rock a scarf this season in the gallery below.

1.Simple loop

Create a simple loop and pull both ends through for a clean, classic look. A brooch is a nice touch to liven the look. The one we used here was inspired by the Ziploc® Holiday Collection snowflake design.

2. Long and skinny

Wrap the scarf around your neck and let both ends dangle for clean lines and a pop of color.

3. Cozy cowl neck

It’s easy to stay warm and stylish with an infinity cowl neck scarf. Just slip it on—no fuss, no tangles.

4. Classic wrap

Loop the scarf around your neck once and pull down to give yourself some breathing room. Wear it with one end slightly longer than the other.

5. Bundled up

Create the look of an infinity scarf even if you don’t have one. Just wrap the scarf loosely and tuck in the ends.

6. Figure 8

Fold the scarf in half and wrap around your neck. Then take one end and loop it through. Twist the loop and pull the second end through.

7. Bow

For a statement piece, tie a scarf into a chunky bow. Secure with a safety pin so you won’t have to worry about it coming undone.

8. Shawl

Your scarf can double as a shawl on a chilly winter day. Open it up and wrap around your shoulders for an extra layer.
