Arty party
Kids love making art. With colorful snacks, a fun activity and a sweet party favor, art parties are a blast.
Arty partyMake these adorable cookies inspired by an artist's palette. Simply bake sugar cookies and cut out a small hole to create the palette shape, then frost with white icing and add colorful candy as “paint.”
Build on the art theme with a painting table with a setting for each guest to make their own masterpiece to take home. Supply plenty of paper, a paint palette, brushes and a water bowl (Ziploc® containers work great!).
Fresh, colorful fruit (according to color palette perhaps?) chopped into small pieces is a perfect healthy snack for little artists.
Don’t forget the party favors! Put them together fast by filling Ziploc® snack bags with candy and adding a printable, folded "thank you for coming" label.
Cupcake decorating party
With just a few basic supplies, you can plan a cupcake decorating party kids will love!
Cupcake decorating partyBefore guests arrive, set the table so each child has a decorating station. Gallon size Ziploc® bags are perfect to use as decorating bags - just insert a frosting tip and cut the corner to create a snug fit, and little hands will stay nice and clean.
Splash bash
The best way to celebrate the end of summer is to throw a swim party! If you have a pool, great—if not, meet at a public pool or lake or set up a few kiddie pools and sprinklers in your yard. Serve lunch by the water using Ziploc® containers - they’re perfect for keeping sandwiches fresh and dry.

Games are a hit at any party, and a water balloon toss is fun in or out of the water. Fill the balloons before the party and hide them! When the kids seem ready for a swim break, bring them out. (Don’t show all your cards right away—you have to pace little monsters!)
Send the kids home with a perfect little party favor. Fill a Ziploc® snack bag with fish candy and attach a cute printable thank you topper. Give one to each little swimmer to take home and enjoy later!
