Breakfast Burritos with Chorizo and Eggs

Breakfast is a wrap with these chorizo, cheese and egg burritos you can make using a Ziploc® Zip’N Steam microwave cooking bag—it’s a great way to make the meat and egg mixture in a couple of minutes—with no mess!

    ounces Mexican pork chorizo, casings removed
  • 4
    flour tortillas
  • 1
    avocado, halved, pitted, peeled, sliced
  • cup (or more) grated Mexican four-cheese blend


  • 1 In a medium size skillet, slowly cook chorizo, breaking it apart until fully cooked (about 10 minutes). Drain off excess fat if necessary.
  • 2 In a medium bowl whisk eggs. Add eggs and half (5 ounces) of the cooked chorizo to a Ziploc® Zip'n Steam Microwave Cooking Bag. Place in microwave for 2 ½ minutes.
  • 3 Warm tortillas in another skillet until pliable (flexible).
  • 4 Divide cooked chorizo and egg mixture among tortillas. Top with avocado and cheese. Roll up tortillas. Wrap in a parchment paper and store in Ziploc® brand storage bags.


Store leftover cooked chorizo in a Ziploc® brand storage bag and chorizo and egg mixture in a Ziploc® container for breakfast burritos all week!
