Turkey Pizza Pitas

Most kids would eat pizza every day if they could...heck, many adults would too, right? So when you put a pizza spin on a healthy turkey pita, it’s the best of both worlds!


  • 2
    cooked turkey burgers from The Ultimate Turkey Burger, chopped
  • 1
    red bell pepper, diced
  • 1
    green bell pepper, diced
  • ½
    cup marinara sauce
  • 2
    slices of pita bread, halved creating 4 pita pockets
  • ½
    cup mozzarella, shredded


  • 1 In a Ziploc® brand bag, combine chopped turkey burgers, bell peppers, and marinara sauce. Knead the bag with your hands until all ingredients are combined.
  • 2 Using your fingers, gently open up the pita bread slices to form a pocket. Place 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese in each pocket. Next, add large spoonfuls of the ground turkey mixture to the pita. Can be served cool or warmed in the microwave until the cheese melts, about 30 seconds.
