Hummus and Veggie Wraps

When nuts are not an option and snack time is heading your way, just turn to the color wheel for a little inspiration. These tangy wraps make for a delicious, alluring snack for kids of all ages! And with just a little adult supervision, little chefs themselves can make these delectable treats.

    tbsp hummus

    Shredded vegetables such as carrots, yellow squash, zucchini, and beets

    Spread hummus evenly onto a tortilla.

  • 2 Top with desired vegetables.

    Roll the tortilla tightly and slice into 1-inch thick pinwheels or serve as is.


Kids can easily shred vegetables by themselves, but to save a little time, shred the veggies beforehand and store in Ziploc® snack bags of Ziploc® containers in the refrigerator. This makes it easier and more convenient to grab them for sandwiches, salads, and even smoothies!
