Baked Grapefruit

Serves 3-4
You’ve probably never thought about baking such a cool, tangy citrus like grapefruit (unless you’re my mom). But the maple syrup + cinnamon + warm temperature turn the tangy juice into a syrupy delicacy perfect for an after-dinner dessert, or a post-brunch “yes please.” And it’s super easy to make! We should make it for every meal!

  • Drizzle of maple syrup

  • Pinch of cinnamon

Cut grapefruit in half. Place each side face up on a baking sheet and top with syrup and cinnamon.

Broil for 5 minutes, or until fruit is a light golden brown.

Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before eating.
