Pumpkin Pie Pecans

The holidays are prime snacking time, especially while wrapping presents, decking out the tree, and waiting for the turkey to come out of the oven. Here’s a delectable nut mix that’s perfect for snacking and gift-giving!

Ingredients

  • 5

    cups pecan halves
  • ½

    cup sugar
  • 2

    tsp salt
  • 1

    tsp ground ginger
  • 1

    tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 2

    tbsp honey
  • 2

    tsp olive oil
  • 2

    tbsp water

Directions

  • 1

    Pre-heat oven to 325°F.

  • 2

Roast pecans on a rimmed baking sheet for 15 minutes (trust me, this is the best part!). Toss once or twice while baking to ensure an even roast.

  • 3

Combine sugar, salt and spices in a Ziploc® brand container and set aside.

  • 4

Over high heat, mix together honey, water, and olive oil in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce to medium heat and add pecans. Cook until pecans are fragrant and coated.

  • 5 Pour this mixture into the Ziploc® brand container and give it a good shake! These morsels are equally good hot or cold.
