Pineapple Greek Yogurt Smoothie Snack

Need a easily prepped ahead of time delightful afternoon snack? Greek yogurt is fantastic for that, especially when you kick it up a notch by turning it into a tasty frozen treat. Freeze chunks of sweet pineapple ahead of time and add the pineapple-flavored Greek yogurt of your choice and blend. Thin with milk, top with a dash of bee pollen and voila! This burst of happy energy will keep you going until dinner.

Ingredients

    cup of pineapple, diced

  • 1

    6 oz container of pineapple-flavored greek yogurt

  • ½

    cup of almond or coconut milk

  •   
    Bee pollen (optional)

Directions

Make ahead:

  • 1 Cut pineapple into small chunks, place in a Ziploc® brand freezer bag and freeze until needed, at least four hours.

Ready to eat:

  • 1 Remove frozen pineapple five minutes before blending. Use easy open tabs to open bag and add fruit to blender with yogurt and process. Thin with coconut milk. Pour into a glass and sprinkle with bee pollen (it’s a super food!)
