No-Mess Marinade: Smoked Paprika Dry-Rubbed Steaks

Marinades and Ziploc® brand bags are a winning combo. Especially with this winning marinade. We’re combining rich, bold spices to marinate steaks for a dry rub everyone will enjoy. Perfect for a family BBQ, or if you want to have the neighbors over. The best part is this dry rub is fast and there’s no mess to clean up.

Ingredients

    tbsp smoked paprika

  • 1

    tbsp ancho chili powder

  • 1

    tsp dry mustard

  • 1

    tsp kosher salt

  • ½

    tsp ground black pepper

  • 2
    steaks (1 ½ inch thick)

Directions

  • 1 In a gallon size Ziploc® brand bag, shake to combine paprika, chili powder, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • 2 Use the easy open tabs to open your Ziploc® brand bag. Add steaks to the dry rub. Seal the bag and shake until steaks are coated with dry rub. Place in the refrigerator and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight, for better results).
  • 3 Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove steaks from bag (easy open tabs are great for messy hands) and grill for 5 minutes a side for medium doneness.
