Walnut Chicken Salad

Conquer school lunch deliciously! Make last night’s rotisserie chicken into a fresh salad with sweet grapes, crunchy walnuts, and zesty mayonnaise. Then all you have to do is pack the bag and go!

Ingredients

    cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 1
    cup red grapes, sliced
  • cup walnuts, chopped
  • cup mayonnaise
  •   
    Pinch salt and pepper

Directions

  • 1 In a Ziploc® brand bag, combine all ingredients and seal. With your hands, squeeze the bag gently until all ingredients are combined.
  • 2 Chill and refrigerate for 1 hour or until ready to serve (up to 3 days).
  • 3 Serve with bread for a sandwich, on top of lettuce for a salad, or with crackers.

Tip

For young children, finely shred the chicken with a knife or a food processor to make the salad more palatable. For older children and adults looking for a flavor boost, add a teaspoon of Dijon mustard or chopped fresh herbs like parsley or dill.
